Three additional chairs for CAIDAS
15.05.2020On May 15, 2020, the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art announced the results of the AI competition in the "AI and Supertech" program of the Hightech Agenda. In this program, 50 additional chairs were awarded to universities and universities of applied sciences within the Bavarian AI network.
The University of Würzburg was successful here with three applications, so that further chairs can be appointed and included in CAIDAS:
- Process and IT integration for AI in the company
- Computational Biology of Spatial Biomedical Systems
- Computationel Humanities
These three chairs will cooperate in the Bavarian AI network in the cross-university alliances
- Effiziente Realisierung von KI-Potenzialen im Unternehmen,
- d.DiM - Digital Disease Management - personalized diagnostics, therapy and care and
- Text Analysis and Understanding for Humanities, Social Sciences and Beyond
with numerous Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences.
In addition, the alliances
- Effiziente Analyse großer zeitabhängiger Datenbestände mit Fokus Materialanalytik and
- Explainable Artificial and Amplified Intelligence
which have also been successful in competition, will work closely with CAIDAS in the future.
