In the first series of talks organised by CAIDAS, members present their research with exciting talks on current activities and projects. The talks will take place every Friday in the middle of the month at 15:00 (st) starting from January 2021. The talks will last 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute discussion.
MehrCAIDAS has four open positions for professorships and is looking forward to receive applications from experts in Human-Robot Interaction, Mathematics of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Theory of Machine Learning until 4 November 2020.
MehrToday Minister of State Bernd Sibler visited the University of Würzburg to learn more about CAIDAS. He was welcomed by the president of the university, Prof. Dr. Alfred Forchel. CAIDAS was represented by Prof. Dr. Andreas Hotho, Prof. Dr. Marc Latoschik, and Prof. Dr. Fotis Jannidis.
MehrOn May 15, 2020, the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art announced the results of the AI competition in the "AI and Supertech" program of the Hightech Agenda. In this program, 50 additional chairs were awarded to universities and universities of applied sciences within the Bavarian AI network.
