The Chair for Pattern Recogniton lab aims at combining machine learning approaches and medical imaging for different applications. A particular focus is on understanding what kind of data is needed for efficient learning, robustness and transferability. In particular, we are interested in applications in interventional imaging, multimodal data and digital pathology. 

We further apply these methodologies across application boundaries e.g. for material science and earth observation.
