CAIDAS member Sabine Fischer from the Chair of Computational and Theoretical Biology is organizing the sixth data science competition for students from Würzburg and everyone interested in testing their data analysis skills. The competition is hosted by the University of Würzburg and supported by the Forum Künstliche Intelligenz und digitale Transformation, a network dedicated to knowledge transfer between science and industry.

CAIDAS is organizing a two-day AI conference, as a form of "scientific opening" of the Center. This two-day event will take place October 29-30, 2025 at the University of Würzburg.

The event has a twofold objective: to showcase the cutting-edge research carried out at CAIDAS, as well as to foster connections and collaborations between AI researchers in the (broader) region, with special focus on Bavaria.
