CAIDAS member Ingo Scholtes together with Frank Schweitzer from ETH Zürich organizes a workshop "Data Analysis for the Digital Humanities: Projects, Methods, Insights". The workshop will take place in Würzburg from February 6th - 8th.

The JMU celebrated the topping out ceremony of their new institute for artificial intelligence on January 23rd. The ceremony was attended by state minister for science and Markus Blume, the president of the JMU Paul Pauli, Würzburg's mayor Christian Schuchardt, and CAIDAS spokesperson Andreas Hotho.
The construction is expected to be completed by this summer.
